Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health threat, we are suspending public programs scheduled from March 16 through September 30, 2020. Morikami will continue to reevaluate and reassess as information about the virus and its impact on public health is presented.

All programs are open for registration on August 1st of each year for the upcoming season. Each season runs from October through the summer of the next year.

Koto Workshop
Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed instrument first introduced to Japan from China in the 7th-8th centuries. Learn the fascinating history of this exquisite instrument and how to play it in this one-day introductory workshop. Instruments will be provided for participants to use in the workshop.
