How We Use the Information You Provide
We use the information you provide to personalize Morikami’s website so that we can better meet your needs, fulfill your online order, facilitate customer service, and inform you of Morikami’s upcoming events, products or promotional offers. Our use of visitor information varies with the type of visit or transaction.

When You Shop in the Museum Store
The Museum Store will ask you to provide personally identifiable information necessary to fulfill your online order or catalog request, which may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, and credit card number. This is the same information requested when you place an order by telephone or through the mail. For online orders or catalog requests, we also require your email address so that you can receive order and shipping confirmation emails, and so that we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order or request. When you make a purchase, your credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secure server, and we will retain the personally identifiable information you provided with your order for our records, to facilitate customer service, and to inform you of our products and promotional offers. If you are a registered customer at the Museum Store, your credit card information will be saved for the next time you shop with us, or you may select “Please do not save my payment details” on the Order Review page to opt out of this feature. By agreeing to our website’s terms and conditions, when you purchase items online from our museum store, you will automatically be signed up to receive emails regarding special events and promotions from Morikami. When You Complete a Survey
Morikami occasionally publishes surveys on www.morikami.org or through a reputable third-party service provider. Your participation in these surveys is on a voluntary basis. If you use Morikami’s “Email a Friend” or “Email This Event to a Friend” feature, your friend’s email address will not be retained or used in any way by Morikami. Morikami will not use the sender’s email address in any way unless permission to do so is specifically granted. The recipient’s email address will not be retained or used in any way by Morikami. We will not share these email addresses with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Morikami may engage reputable third-party vendors in order to help us manage our website, process transactions, and allow us to better respond to the needs of our visitors. Morikami requires its vendors to maintain the confidentiality and security of the information to which they are provided access and restricts these vendors from using the information in any way without express authorization by Morikami.

Class, Workshop & Lecture Policies
All classes, workshops, and some special programs require pre-registration. All classes must be purchased in full per session. There are no partial payments for individual classes of a session.
Prior notification of cancellation from the registrant must be received by the registrar three working days before the program. The museum reserves the right to cancel a program for any reason. If the program is cancelled by the museum, the total tuition will be refunded.
Classes: Registration will be refunded in full until three working days before the first class. Fifty percent of the registration is refundable before the second class. No registration will be refunded after the second class.
Ikebana flower arrangement classes: The flower fee for the first week of missed class will be deducted from the 50 percent class refund and will be paid to the instructor if the registrant does not show up or cancels.
Workshops, Lectures, & Education Events: Refunds may be made up until three working days before the event. There are no refunds after the event.
Fees and Materials
Some courses have a flower or material fee which is payable directly to the instructor at the first class of each session in cash or check. Please note individual class material requirements.
The minimum unaccompanied age for classes is fifteen years old. Twelve- to fourteen-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult also enrolled in the class. Children younger than twelve years old cannot enroll in classes or workshops unless otherwise specified.
Tickets will be held at the door at will call on the day of the lecture under the attendee’s name. Unless otherwise specified, all tickets must be purchased in advance.
Please do not leave valuables unattended. The museum is not responsible for loss.
If you have special needs, please let us know so we may better serve you.
For some courses, a waiver form may be presented to you for signing on the first day of class.

Store Returns, Exchanges & Shipping
Please allow 7-10 business days for receipt of the order for delivery. If there is any anticipated delay, we will notify you. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or international addresses at this time.
We do not offer a gift wrapping service at this time. If you have indicated that your order is a gift, we will remove all price tags and will include a hand written note from you on a business-size card from Morikami Museum, imprinted with our logo. Your greeting should be limited to 25 words or less.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with all of your purchases.
All returns for credit or replacement must be made within 30 days of purchase and require a return authorization. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
