NIHONGO: JAPANESE INTENSIVE WORKSHOP III
2-Day Workshop

This intensive 2-day workshop covers Units 4 and 5 of the required textbook and completes hiragana reading and writing. It concludes the Nihongo Level I series. The prerequisite for this course is Nihongo Intensive Workshop II or the Nihongo Level I Part 2 Class. Students who have completed this workshop may go on to the Nihongo Level II class in Part 1 of the following season

Prerequisite: Nihongo Intensive Workshop II or the Nihongo Level I-Part 2 Class.

Registration is required for all workshops.

*Required Textbook: Japanese for Busy People I Kana Version (revised 3rd edition) and Japanese for Busy People Kana workbook (revised 3rd edition) ISBN: 978-1568364018.
Both books should include the CD. Please bring with you on the first day of classes.

CONTENT

  • Completion of hiragana. Units 4 & 5.

Please Note:

  • This workshop is the same as the Nihongo class – Part 3, just taught in a shorter time frame.
  • Students who complete this workshop may go on to the Nihongo Level II- Part 1 class of the following season.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Sumiko Uo is a Japanese-born educator, an adjunct lecturer at Florida Atlantic University and a translator. A student of language and traditional Japanese cultural arts, Ms. Uo has taught Japanese language, calligraphy, literature and cinema to both children and adults. Her classes will appeal to beginners, as well those with knowledge of Japanese.
