Heart Sutra Fan

The Heart Sutra, in its shorter version, emphasizes the concept of emptiness (sunyata) and its implications for understanding reality. It states that form is not different from emptiness and emptiness is not different from form. It also extends this concept to all phenomena, stating that all dharmas are empty, neither created nor destroyed, neither defiled nor pure, and neither increasing nor decreasing. Ultimately, the sutra highlights that in emptiness, there is no suffering, cause of suffering, cessation of suffering, or path to the cessation of suffering, and there is no attainment of wisdom, or wisdom to attain.
