Credit cards are accepted at admissions, the food & beverage ticket station, and the Museum Store. However, the cash only lines move more quickly than the credit lines as our credit card machines rely on remote satellite signal. We suggest bringing plenty of cash or using one of the on-site ATM machines. There are three located on site and indicated in the event program map. - Are the museum galleries & garden open during Oshogatsu?
The gardens are open and are included in the admission price for Oshogatsu. However, in order to protect the integrity of the artwork in our museum galleries against extreme temperature changes with large crowds, our exhibitions are not open on festival days.
