Hatsume brings you anime vendors and artists as well as our annual Costume Contest and Fashion Show! Contests are sponsored by Tate’s Comics and hosted by the 3000 Brigade.
Costume Contest
For seven years and counting, visitors have come to Hatsume decked out as their favorite anime, video game, TV and movie characters to compete in our Costume Contest. The Costume Contest will be held on Saturday, and is one of the most popular events of the day. Come strut your stuff with us, and compete for great prizes from Morikami, Tate’s and the 3000 Brigade. Pre-judging and registration must be completed by 2:30pm in the anime arena to participate in the costume contest.
Fashion Show Contest
Walk the runway in your best Lolita, Decora or Morikami-inspired ensemble in our annual Fashion Show! The Fashion Show will be held on Sunday, and is one of the most popular attractions of the day! Show us what you’ve got and compete for great prizes from Morikami, Tate’s and the 3000 Brigade. Pre-judging and registration must be completed by 1:00pm in the anime arena to participate in the Fashion Show.
