All classes, workshops, and some special programs require pre-registration. All classes must be purchased in full per session. There are no partial payments for individual classes of a session.
Prior notification of cancellation from the registrant must be received by the registrar three working days before the program. The museum reserves the right to cancel a program for any reason. If the program is cancelled by the museum, the total tuition will be refunded.
- Classes: Registration will be refunded in full until three working days before the first class. Fifty percent of the registration is refundable before the second class. No registration will be refunded after the second class.
- Ikebana flower arrangement classes: The flower fee for the first week of missed class will be deducted from the 50 percent class refund and will be paid to the instructor if the registrant does not show up or cancels.
- Workshops, Lectures, & Education Events: Refunds may be made up until three working days before the event. There are no refunds after the event.
Fees and Materials
Some courses have a flower or material fee which is payable directly to the instructor at the first class of each session in cash or check. Please note individual class material requirements.
The minimum unaccompanied age for classes is fifteen years old. Twelve- to fourteen-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult also enrolled in the class. Children younger than twelve years old cannot enroll in classes or workshops unless otherwise specified.
Tickets will be held at the door at will call on the day of the lecture under the attendee’s name. Unless otherwise specified, all tickets must be purchased in advanced.
Please do not leave valuables unattended. The museum is not responsible for loss.

For some courses, a waiver form may be presented to you for signing on the first day of class.
THE PERMITTEE AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND SAVE HARMLESS PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE MORIKAMI, INC. FROM ANY AND ALL INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND OTHER CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, LOSSES AND CAUSE OF ACTION WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE(S) AUTHORISED BY THIS PERMIT BY PERMITTEE OR THOSE ACTING UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE PERMITTEE INCLUDING PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS IF APPLICABLE, AND FURTHER AGREES TO NOT HOLD PALM BEACH COUNTY OR THE MORIKAMI, INC. LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF SAID USE(S). THE PARTICIPANT, PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF A PARTICIPANT, AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND SAVE HARMLESS PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE MORIKAMI, INC. FROM ANY AND ALL INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND OTHER CLAIMS, LIABILITES, LOSSES AND CAUSES OF ACTION WHICH MAY ARISE FROM HIS/HER CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROGRAM OR FROM EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE, AND FURTHER AGREES TO NOT HOLD PALM BEACH COUNTY OR THE MORIKAMI, INC. LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN SAID PROGRAM. PERMISSION IS HEREBY GRANTED FOR [PARTICIPANT’s NAME] TO PARTICIPATE IN PALM BEACH COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND THE MORIKAMI, INC. PROGRAMS INCLUDING COMMUNITY OUTINGS, AND AUTHORIZATION IS HEREBY GIVEN FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE OF SAID PARTICIPANT.
