ITO EN

Green tea has been cherished by the Japanese for generations, and ITO EN believes it is a gift nature has given to us to share with others. These long-held growing traditions of the tea plant reflect a pattern that ITO EN continues to honor and uphold.

So, at the root of our philosophy to preserve tea culture is our upmost respect for the earth. With it, we create stability for our tea farmers and maintain consistent standards of environmental protection. It means our teas always deliver good taste and unmatched health properties, from the ground up.

TEA MINUS ONE

Tea Minus One brings you rare, Japanese matcha that is truly suitable for formal Japanese tea ceremony. Founded by a practitioner of Japanese tea ceremony, trained at the Morikami Museum in South Florida since 2021, Tea Minus One matcha is curated by a palate deeply informed by years of Japanese tea ceremony practice. We select shade grown, hand picked matcha for the utmost freshness and quality flavor.

Tea Minus One matcha primarily comes from Uji, Japan the historical birthplace of matcha tea in Japan where the founder has personally visited tea farms. Uji is famous for being the first city to grow tea trees in Japan, chosen by Zen monks for planting tea in its lush mountains near Kyoto’s Zen temples frequented by noble elite. Tea Minus One also offers a variety of Imperial grade matcha blends by famous tea masters such as Marukyu Koyamaen, Chikumeido, Shogyokuen, and others. Treat yourself to drinking Tea Minus One’s authentic, ceremonial grade matcha.  – Veronica Clayon, Founder
