Ikenobo shears are characterized by the round curvatures of their tips, said to have been inspired by the warabi, or eagle ferns, an ingredient in many Japanese foods. Their blades have been engineered so that the fibers of the plant remain intact when the blades slice through them, allowing for greater absorption of water and longer life.
Ikenobo shears have traditionally been used for ikebana, the art of floral arrangements, but are perfect for any type of gardening.
Hand-forged in stainless steel, rust resistant, and easy to clean. 6.5″ in length.
Made in Japan.
