Workshop: Kite Making

There are hundreds of varieties of kites in Japan, with each region of the country having its own, specific traditional style.  Join kite master, Mr. Mikio, and his daughter Ms. Asami for a special guest artist workshop to make your very own kite.

All ages and abilities are welcome to attend. Bring your kite or just watch and enjoy the fun! In the event of inclement weather, Mr. Toki will present a lecture about Japanese kites in the theater.
