Mori Stories: Kamishibai Folktales

At 11AM and 1PM every second Thursday of the month, October through May, bring the whole family and delve into the world of Japanese folklore through kamishibai paper theater. Join us for a reading of these classic stories:

  • December 13, 2018: How the Years Were Named
  • January 10, 2019: Hats for the Jizos (in the Library)
  • February 14, 2019: The Mouse’s Wedding
  • March 14, 2019: Princess Kaguya
  • April 11, 2019: Urashima Taro
  • May 9, 2019: The One Inch Boy
