The entire surface is printed with a Hyakki Yagyo (Night Parade of One Hundred Demons) pattern. Though made from thin fabric, its generous 58 cm size makes it perfect when folded into a square for everyday use.

A fantastical scroll depicting a procession of animated tea utensils transformed into yokai. Tea bowls, a tea whisk (chasen), and a tea caddy (natsume) lead the way, followed by a boiling tea kettle carrying a tea scoop (chashaku) as they hurry along. Chasing after them through the darkness are charcoal containers and trays, all brought to life in a lively, whimsical scene.
