Bracelet Bohemian Glass

Bohemia has a rich tradition of glass bead making dating back to the 10th century. By the end of the 18th century, the demand for this brilliantly colored, beautifully formed glass was global. Beaded Bohemian glass necklaces were fashionable adornments for African tribesmen as well as Victorian ladies. The tradition continues today in the Czech Republic where small factories produce glass beads in a stunning array of shapes and colors.
