The chawan is the traditional Japanese vessel to make and drink matcha tea. This design features a hand-formed rim, creating dips and rises along the edge, and glazes of sage green, gray, and seafoam. Each one varies greatly due to the hand made nature of the chawan, but each is a work of art in its own right.
