Stunning set of 5 lapis plates are decorated in traditional edo komon patterns. Edo komon is actually a textile dying technique from the Edo period.  Edo – small patterns – were developed originally for garments worn by samurai on formal occasions.

Plates are 4″ round and useful as hors d’ouvre plates, side dishes, soap dish and so much more.
