On February 3rd Japan celebrated a holiday called Setsubun that celebrates the changing of the seasons. On this day people throw beans at the entrance of their houses or at shrines while shouting “Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!” (“Demons Out! Fortune in!”). This ritual is meant to expel bad luck and welcome good fortune. Celebrate this holiday with us by making an oni craft!
All Family Fun Days are FREE with paid museum admission.
No reservation needed.
