Japanese Design for the Senses: Beauty, Form and Function

Japanese aesthetic sensibilities are, as in any other culture, difficult to contain in a single definition. For this exhibition, Morikami Museum has chosen a wide variety of art and everyday objects, across media and time, which capture the essence and genius of Japanese design. A few highlights from the selection include ceramic art and painting.
